Click here to see ALL my Japan posts. All the kids were excited with the trip that waking them up at 4 every day was no trouble by any means. Our Cathay pacific flight was scheduled to go away at 8:45 am. NAIA terminal 1 is undergoing some renovations so C anticipated some delay in checking in. I am pleased to note that MIASCOR has undergone some minor facelift, and is not so tired looking anymore. It is worthy to be aware that the new couches have uplifted the mood in the lounge a tad.

where to take vacation with kidsThe food however, remains to be the same over the years. But I do not want to complain considering that the food plus the stay costs nothing anyway. Being grateful will be the only way to go. We decided to fly Cathay Pacific considering that the husband wanted an airline which has a young fleet plus a solid safety record. With nothing preferable to do but to enjoy, we settled for a lot of quick bites at C's fave, Tasty Congee and Wanton.

J couldn't resist having her fave green tea extract frap at Starbucks. The flight was uneventful using the kids busy experiencing and enjoying the in-flight entertainment. While I only agreed to be busy catching up on some zzzzzs. When we finally got a chance to our final destination, it turned out already 8:45pm, the plane was delayed by a few minutes leaving Hong Kong on account of air traffic issues.

Arrivals are saved to the 1st floor, while departures are from the 4th floor. The Japanese customs has very rigid procedures where they took our fingerprints and photos. The passengers are certainly not allowed to take any photos with the place at any area within immigration. As is our usual practice, we divided us of 5 into 2 groups to shorten time it will take us to feed immigration.

The airport is large, nonetheless it only took us about 20 mins to get from the plane, move across immigration, claim our luggage and start working on the ticketing office. 1. After clearing immigrations and claiming our baggage, we go on to the arrival hall if you take the elevator or escalator for the 2nd level.

2. On the 2nd level, we exit your building and walk throughout the walkway for the opposite building. There are several options to choose from to obtain from KIX on the Namba station, where there we were staying. The rapi:t a (pronounced rapito alpha) train reaches Namba from KIX in half an hour.

There is train an hour or so. This train cost ¥1,390 for any one-way ticket, ¥500 greater than the normal rapid service train. The rapi:t b (rapito beta) with the same price stops at more stations, and takes 35 minutes. It costs much like the rapi:t a, which can be ¥1,390.

You could also take an ordinary Nankai Airport Express Line and reach Namba in 45 minutes. This line runs over the same tracks for the same destination, but stop often and may get crowded. Then there will be the Nankai Local Line, which stops at ALL the stations, which can take you an hour or so. The entrance for the Nankai Line is color coded in red. Kanku Tokawari Rap:t Ticket. Using the Kanku Tokuwari ticket, you may get the Rap:it ticket for a discounted rate of Y1,100 instead from the regular Y1,390.

Besides nicer reserved seats, the Rap:it Express also offers luggage racks. The time difference between the Rapi:t Express and Airport Exress is minimal, but so would be the fare difference with all the discount (210 Yen). Go towards the bottom in the page, and click on the connection about Kanku Tokuwari to have more details. Yokoso Osaka Ticket. It includes a one-way go Namba using Nankai Rapi:t Express, and also a one-day free pass of Osaka subway and bus.

You may use one day spread the day you have Rapi:t or perhaps the next day. We planned to avail on the Kanku Tokawari Rap:t likely to Namba from KIX as well as the other way around for that return flight home. However, because we experienced some delay as a result of airport tarmac traffic, we missed our train. C needed to ride the rapi:t a, though the next train has not been scheduled until after one hour. He wished to wait 30 minutes for that Rapi:t b, but I convinced him to only take the regular airport express. I've updated this post use a link to ALL MY JAPAN POSTS!
