It had not been some of our finer vacation moments. We finally got back on the hotel though before hoping inside car and driving for the Pony Center. 7 a pop!) therefore we did slightly wandering but there wasn't much else to complete besides the pony rides. So, we some lunch at Famous Pizza before heading into Assateague to shell out the rest on the day at Tom's Cove as beach bums.
Around dinnertime, we packed up and headed back to your hotel to ready for a nice dinner (nicest we'd had all vacation yet!) at Etta's Channelside restaurant. Grey was able to stay asleep about the same dinner (!) and Gem was well behaved, so Brandon and I counted it as a an actual real live romantic dinner. After dinner, we headed down to your Firemen's Carnival where your children had a blast riding the kiddie rides and in some cases hit the jackpot around the fish pond winning two big prizes! We enjoyed funnel cake, some live music, after which stopped in the docks to relish within the gorgeous sunset on our the other day of vacation.
