Looking on your next vacation, Don’t forget, Intrepid supplies a 10% discount for everyone travellers aged 17 and under. Travel to Morocco and start a family adventure.

The clue’s inside title. These trips are for single parent families only (including any aunts, uncles or cousins who’d wish to come along, needless to say). As long as you’re travelling that has a child under the age of 18, you’re children in our eyes. Plus, unlike other travel companies, children aged 17 a few years younger get a 10% discount away from the price of their trip. Travelling the Intrepid approach is a bit like travelling using a group of friends. Made up of 3-5 like-minded families, your children tend to hit them back on these trips right away, letting you enjoy some well-earned R&R.

We usually see the whole family eventually ends up making friendships with others from all around the world, residing in touch even after the adventure ends. Intrepid’s family group sizes are sufficiently little to avoid the crowds and reach some out-of-the-way places, but adequate for a good social mix. Our average group size 10 allows us hop aboard local boats, buses or trains, eat out at friendly, family-run restaurants and chill in traditional accommodation and homestays.

We be aware of biggest challenge on a family group trip is keeping the children entertained. So we’ve planned upfront. Nearly all of our hotels feature pools, with each day includes a great combination of action-packed adventure and flexible leisure time. Your local leader may also suggest activities depending on your kid’s hobbies or school curriculum.

Our leaders are specially educated to run family adventures, so you’re well cared for. You may also rest easy knowing we conduct safety assessments on the whole activities to satisfy local standards along with our own comprehensive safety policy. The world’s a great place so we want to do our bit and keep it this way. That’s why we opt to travel responsibly, giving back in the communities we visit and assisting to create a sustainable world for the children. For us, it’s also about educating the next generation of responsible travellers. Discover the joys from the High Atlas with a trek through scenic Berber villages, spending an evening in a traditional Berber homestay. It’s the opportunity to discover the culture and tradition associated with an indigenous population who've stood examination of time.

And to look downhill mountain biking, naturally. Named for the turtle population, this secluded wildlife wonderland boasts 13 of Costa Rica’s 16 endangered mammals. Look out for manatees, ocelots, jaguars, crocs, sloths and toucans (these happily measures in as a substitute for ones alarm clock). The spectacular World Heritage-listed site of Halong Bay is usually a breathtaking secluded harbour, by 2,000 limestone islands jutting out with the waters in the Bac Bo Gulf.

Enjoy a peaceful evening of cruising one of several limestone peaks using a comfortable private junk boat. It’s one on the premier national parks of India, a location where nature reigns supreme. A game drive in Ranthambhore might just reveal a Bengal tiger stalking one of many ruined forts and temples; in this particular jungle they may be spotted even in daytime.

We put many care in picking the accommodation we remain in, avoiding the important chain hotels and is overtaken by locally-run establishments offering an original experience. Whether it's a rustic homestay in Thailand or perhaps an extravagant riad in Morocco, we choose high-quality operators where most rooms will feature ensuites and air cooling is standard.

Wherever possible we pick hotels that offer triple or quad rooms and try to try and offer conjoining rooms when they're available. Spend a single night at among Rajasthan's breathtaking 17th Century palaces. With its grand courtyards, colourful dining arcades and heritage rooms, the accommodation alone stands apart as one in the highlights on the trip. Get to understand the other parents on the game of billiards or kick back within the opulent surrounds while your children take to the pool. Found deep from the Caribbean rainforest, this riverbank lodge is an ideal retreat out of the bustle of San Jose.
