Stopped in Belle Fourche, South Dakota for the little while. Next found its way to Spearfish. Went to find out Passion Play arena. Couldn't stay for play since it starts past too far and it's an extended drive to Hill City. Went to airport to discover Doc off. Left airport for drive through Spearfish Canyon. Stopped at Bridalveil Falls. Crossed the river and climbed nearly rock at base on the Falls for taking pictures. The canyon is beautiful.
Trout stream running all down the canyon. Next stopped to determine the Chair Lift at Terry Peak in Lead, South Dakota. Couldn't get one to go up. We then stopped with the Inferno together a beer. It is often a tavern produced from an old gold mine. Stopped to obtain souvenirs in a jewelry factory then back in cabin at Hill City. Arrived at cabin at 7:15 P.M. Left the cabin late when we are going to consider it easy today and rest up for trip back tomorrow. Went out on the monument of Chief Crazy Horse.
